Chop Wood Carry Water Plant Seeds is a blog about Self-Sufficient Homesteading. How can we live by creating a sustainable bio-diverse world, instead of by consuming and destroying the only one we have? What kind of teaching have you got if you exclude nature?

Sun, warmth, washing walls and gathering Ground Elder

Today was only 10'C but it felt so warm and the sun was shining all day. Lovely!
It was warm enough to walk barefoot
Ground Elder is starting to grow all over the field. This is an edible plant which can be eaten as salad leaves or cooked as spinach.
Gathering Ground Elder for todays risotto.
I have washed the remaining walls which will be dry for painting tomorrow.
